Urgent Care at University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center offers high-quality care for immediate health needs with no need for an appointment.
We offer extended services during limited hours that are not typically available at urgent care centers, such as X-Rays. Extended evening and weekend hours help you get the treatment you need without a trip to the emergency room.
Our Services
We provide non-emergent treatment for patients of all ages, offering care for conditions such as:
- Colds, earaches, sore throats and bronchitis
- Sprains, strains and simple bone fractures
- Minor cuts, lacerations, splinters and minor skin abscesses
- Conjunctivitis and superficial eye injuries
- Urinary tract infections (consider the Emergency Department if under 4 years old)
- Headaches, nausea, vomiting and stomach flu
- Camp/sports/pre-operative physicals
Mental Health Urgent Care
Through a partnership with the Howard Center, Pathways Vermont and the Community Health Centers, free walk-in care is available for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Services are offered Monday through Friday, 9 am–5 pm, at 1 South Prospect Street in Burlington.
