As an urgent care physician assistant, I find it incredibly rewarding to make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives — often in just a single visit. I enjoy the fast-paced nature of urgent care, where each day brings a variety of care opportunities, from minor injuries to acute illnesses.
This allows me to stay sharp clinically while providing hands-on care like laceration repairs, splinting and infection management.
What I value most is the opportunity to offer patients immediate relief, comfort and answers during what is often a stressful time.
Whether it’s helping someone manage sudden symptoms or guiding them toward the right next step in their care, I strive to be a calm, reassuring presence.
