Our Services
While each person's mental health journey is unique, you can expect several stages of inpatient psychiatric care, including:
- Assessment: We talk with you and your family to understand the stressors that may have caused you to need inpatient psychiatric care.
- Stabilization: Our team provides intensive care to reduce your immediate symptoms.
- Learning and Practice: In one-on-one or group settings, we help you learn ways to manage stressors and develop skills for coping with mental illness.
- Discharge Planning: We help you set a plan for long-term mental health care and a return to your community.
Visitor Policy
We try to accommodate the family and guests on the unit according to the needs and preferences of the patient. This may include allowing one adult at the bedside overnight when possible. We will work with you and see what arrangements can be made.
Children are welcome to visit. For safety, children are required to be supervised by an adult other than the patient. We ask that children visit with their loved one in the patient room. We are not able to safely accommodate children sleeping overnight.
