Comfortable Spaces for You and Your Birth Partner
The Garden Path Birthing Center at Central Vermont Medical Center was built with you in mind. Our center is designed to help you have a safe, comfortable birth experience.
Birthing Rooms
Our private birthing rooms feature views of the mountains. Some rooms have bathrooms equipped with showers and labor tubs. Other birthing supports, like squat bars and birthing balls, are also available.
Birthing rooms accommodate 24-hour rooming-in for your new baby and sleeping arrangements for one support person.
Operating Rooms
The birthing center is home to a dedicated operating room for cesarean births and complicated deliveries. Our obstetricians are experienced in surgical interventions.
Dining Options
The Mountain View Café, located on the basement level of the hospital, is open daily from 7 am-7 pm. The café is closed from 2–4 pm on weekends.
Room service is also available. You may choose one person to dine with you, free of charge, at each meal.
