About Our Location
The Ambulatory Care Unit at University of Vermont Health – Central Vermont Medical Center offers services, such endoscopies, surgical procedures and more. The unit also includes an infusion room and a pain clinic.
Our Services
We offer the following services:
- Surgery: Surgery in five state-of-the-art operating rooms.
- Endoscopy: Colonoscopies, gastroscopies and bronchoscopies for diagnosis or treatment.
- Infusions: IV medication, blood infusions or peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line insertion and management.
- Pain Clinic: Pain block procedures, such as epidurals to relieve chronic pain.
- Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT): Effective treatment for major depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
