What attracted you to UVM Medical Center: I was initially attracted to UVMMC due to the wide array of experiences offered within the singular specialty. Being a large academic medical center, UVMMC provides endless opportunities for unique patient disease states. What truly finalized my attraction and interest in the program was meeting the program director, preceptors, and staff who would be involved in my residency experience. Their expertise in each of their designated specialties and dedication to the resident experience were apparent from the initial encounter, and have only expanded further throughout the course of my residency year.
What do you love most about VT: Burlington is such a versatile location. Between the restaurants and shopping on Church Street, swimming in Lake Champlain, or hiking the Green Mountains, there is always something to do, regardless of the season.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time: Running along the Colchester Causeway, hiking with my co-residents, and looking forward to my first ski lesson this winter!
