What Alan enjoys about Vermont: Vermont has breathtakingly picturesque landscapes from the green mountains to primetime peak foliage. There are endless outdoor activities for all four seasons, the craft brew scene is off the charts and the food scene is surprisingly delicious. The people of Vermont are super friendly and welcoming which is a nice change coming from New York City.

Headshot of Vidur Ghantiwala, DO a pain medicine fellow at UVM Medical Center.

Vidur Ghantiwala, DO

Medical School: West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine
Residency: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Larkin Community Hospital
What Vidur enjoys about Vermont: Vermont is equal parts myth and reality, home to a mystique that other states can only envy. Idyllic scenes encompass what is unique to Vermont spanning across boating on Lake Champlain to Fall foliage with blazing red maple trees along stone walls, to an outdoor Winter paradise with dazzling white ski trails. A short drive from the world renowned Stowe Mountain Ski Resort, Burlington is home to the birth of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and an abundance of bike paths, craft breweries, cheese and maple syrup farms. Having lived across 10 states throughout my training, I can attest Vermont has some of the friendliest and most welcoming people which provides the perfect environment to perfect my craft.
