Fundraising events support investments in our employees, and the health of our community.
Fun In Your Community, Supporting Your Community
Fundraising events help us secure additional resources for essential programs at Elizabethtown Community Hospital. We invite you to support us by attending, donating or volunteering for an event. Join us for a day of fun to keep your essential health care close to home.
The Doc Lopez Run for Health includes a half marathon and 5k trail race. Held each spring, it’s a great way to celebrate the warmer weather and support Elizabethtown Community Hospital. Named in honor of Dr. Robert “Doc” Lopez, a veterinarian and accomplished runner, this scenic 13.1-mile course starts in Keene Valley and takes runners via NY Route 9N into Elizabethtown. The 5k invites athletes of all levels and ages to run, jog, walk or even skip their way through a scenic Adirondack trail.
Our generous event sponsors help keep the cost of participation low and allow us to direct more funds to supporting our patients and their families.
Contact us if you would like to become an event sponsor, volunteer or learn more about the discount for track teams and running clubs.
The Elizabethtown Community Hospital Annual Golf Tournament is a great way to support workforce development in your community. Backed by our dedicated corporate sponsors, the event brings together golfers of all skill levels to drive, chip and putt for an important cause. Participants support our workforce development program, which provides scholarships for paramedic certification, all while enjoying a fun-filled day that features on-course contests and raffles.
