Every gift makes a difference and helps Central Vermont Medical Center provide high-quality care to all who live, work, and play here in Central Vermont.
The Impact of Your Giving
Behind every patient’s care is a team of dedicated clinicians, staff — and donors. Our Office of Development works closely with Central Vermont Medical Center leadership and the central Vermont community to carry out our mission.
Over the years, donations from our generous community have supported a wide range of initiatives at Central Vermont Medical Center and touched thousands of people. Our donors have allowed us to purchase needed equipment, improve our services and strengthen our workforce.
In 2025, donor contributions helped us:
- Connected more than 168 patients with fresh, local, organic food through our Health Care Share Program.
- Our Branches of Hope Cancer Patient Fund supported 142 individual cancer patients through direct grants for a wide range of needs.
- With the help of Nursing and Clinical Pathways Fund, 21 students from CVMC graduated from the Workforce Pathways Program and 20 students are actively enrolled in the program.
- Create a beautiful and beneficial Pollinator Garden at Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing outside of the Ben Falls Room. For more information read the article here: Beautiful and Beneficial: Woodridge Pollinator Project Breaks Ground.
