About Me
Growing up with a close relative with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, I saw firsthand the impact neurological disorders can have on children and their families. That experience inspired my commitment to providing holistic care to children and families at every stage of development, from infancy through adolescence, both inside and outside the hospital.
I completed fellowships in Epilepsy and Pediatric Neurocritical Care/Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disorders at Boston Children's Hospital. My clinical interests include caring for children with epilepsy and stroke, particularly in the intensive care setting, and supporting their recovery and return to life beyond the hospital.
I have also pursued clinical research relating to neurocritical care and neurological injury, recovery and associated conditions such as paroxysmal sympathetic hyperactivity, as well as epilepsy and cerebrovascular disorders. In addition, I serve as an Associate Editor for Neurocritical Care for the Journal of Child Neurology.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing guitar and spending time with my wife and two children.
I'm commited to providing holistic care to children and families at every stage of development.
