We had a good discussion about my past protocol and the upcoming medical plan. He was a tiny bit dismissive of my description of side effects of medication I have had to take but I think it was because he knows the effectiveness of the drugs and wanted to present them in a positive light.

Dr. Kaufman was wonderful, as always demonstrating a high level of care, concern, attention and expertise. I'm lucky to have him as my physician and UVM is fortunate to have him on staff.

I appreciate Dr. Kaufman's attention to my overall care. He clearly reviews my history and asks questions. Last year he encouraged me to get a cardiac assessment (due to chest pain complaints); and I am subsequently taking a low-dose assessment. This visit he asked me questions about my neck pain and indicated he would communicate with my PCP about It (and she has been managing it with referrals.) His attention to my whole health and not only the breast cancer and osteoporosis makes me feel that he truly cares about my health and wellbeing.
Dr. Kaufman is a terrific doctor, he listens well, he communicates well and he is very knowledgeable. I trust him completely.
