About Me
I'm passionate about evidence-based, interprofessional care. As a hospitalist, I coordinate inpatient care among multiple specialists and clinical team members to support the best possible outcomes for patients.
I believe this work is most effective when nurses, physicians, pharmacists, social workers, therapists and patients all show up together — bringing their expertise and their willingness to listen. I strive to create spaces where every voice is heard, and the patient remains at the center.
I specialize in inpatient oncology hospital medicine and helped design and lead the University of Vermont Medical Center Oncology Hospital Medicine team from 2017 to 2025. I’m also deeply committed to serious illness communication and serve as a Senior Faculty and Coach with VitalTalk. Through the TalkVermont program, I lead workshops across UVM Health to help clinicians strengthen their communication skills.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, running, biking and spending time with my three boys.
