Incredibly helpful
I already said how I felt about the doctor on the last one accidentally. He was wonderful. He felt confident it was quick but thorough and saved me so much time not having to go there. I'm really happy with the experience.
My son's appointment with Dr. D'Amico was efficient, and thorough. Dr. D'Amico and I discussed my son not necessarily needing any more follow up appointments because he is doing so well and off his stomach medication but that he was happy to continue seeing him since we've known each other many years now. But that if we didn't want to continue with appointments that he will always be available to us in the future for whatever we may need or questions we may have (as he has been for the past 5 years.) He was very considerate during this conversation and left it to what I felt most comfortable with.
Dr. D'Amico is the best! He spoke directly to my son, listened patiently, and explained everything to us. He had a great sense of humor with a fifteen year old who has ADHD and now CVS. Thank you, thank you!!
We travel 8 hours round trip to see Dr. D'Amico. There are providers closer to us, yes, they are professional. But do they give the best care while listening to the patient and working together with the patient to develop a plan of care? Nowhere near the professionalism and care that Dr. D'Amico gives. The healthcare industry as a whole would be amazing if all providers listened and care as well as him.
My doctor was very understanding and found a solution to what I was most worried about regarding my treatment.
