About Me

I was drawn to a career in health care because I wanted to support women during some of the most important and transformative moments of their lives. What I find most rewarding is helping families through education, encouragement and individualized support that helps women feel confident in their bodies and their decisions. It is a true honor to support families during this vulnerable time and help make feeding and caring for their babies a little easier.

In addition to providing skilled lactation care, I have a special interest in infant sleep and communication, with a focus on helping parents understand their babies’ cues and feel more confident responding to their needs. I have experience evaluating and supporting infants with suspected tongue-tie or other oral anatomy challenges, and I have additional training in helping infants who struggle with bottle feeding. I also hold a certification in Perinatal Mental Health, which has deepened my understanding of the emotional and psychological challenges that can accompany the transition to parenthood.

Working with many different families throughout my career has shaped the way I practice. Each family’s unique experiences and perspectives have expanded my clinical knowledge and reinforced that there is rarely a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe in meeting each family where they are, listening carefully and developing a care plan that best supports their goals and needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, as well as exploring the outdoors. Gardening, cross-country skiing, bird watching and mountain biking are some of my favorite ways to enjoy all that Vermont has to offer. Time in nature helps me return to my work feeling refreshed and grounded.

I believe in meeting each family where they are, listening carefully and developing a care plan that best supports their goals and needs.
