I'm deeply passionate about antimicrobial stewardship and have dedicated my career to advancing this critical area of medicine. The overuse of antibiotics has contributed to the global rise of multi-drug-resistant bacteria — a threat I am committed to minimizing and preventing here in Vermont.
Antimicrobial stewardship is about ensuring that every patient receives the right antibiotic, at the right dose, for the right duration. Thoughtful and careful prescribing today helps protect our community’s ability to rely on effective antibiotic therapy in the future.
Through education, collaboration and evidence-based practices, I strive to promote responsible antibiotic use and safeguard public health for generations to come.
