The most rewarding aspect of my career has been educating patients about the basics of their medical conditions, the reasons behind different treatment recommendations and the potential benefits of those treatments.
Consulting and collaborating with other practitioners is highly beneficial and enjoyable, as they share insights and ideas I might not have considered.
Communication is key, and patients should know about what we are doing and why. In-depth explanations and the rationale for prescribing a medication or treatment are essential, as they help patients understand their situation more thoroughly and help alleviate their anxiety or concerns.
