About Me
I was inspired to pursue medicine because it combines science, communication and service to others. My background in engineering gave me an appreciation for careful problem-solving, while my medical training deepened my commitment to caring for individuals and communities through complex and challenging situations. Radiation oncology felt like a natural fit, bringing together technical expertise, teamwork and the human side of care.
The most rewarding part of my work is helping patients, families and care teams feel informed, supported and engaged as we make decisions together from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. My clinical expertise is in radiation oncology, including radiation treatment across a broad range of cancers and clinical situations.
I am especially passionate about improving access to high-quality cancer care through patient education, quality improvement, clinical trials and thoughtful use of technology. I value helping patients, families and care teams participate meaningfully in decisions that improve cancer care and community well-being.
My approach has been shaped by caring for patients and families during moments of uncertainty, as well as seeing cancer affect people close to me. I have learned that even when decisions are complex, what matters most is that people feel heard, respected and supported.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family, music, exploring new places and learning about new technologies. These activities help me recharge, stay curious and stay grounded.
I have learned that even when decisions are complex, what matters most is that people feel heard, respected and supported.
