About Me
I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine because of the opportunity to help make people's lives better. Providing care during some of the most important moments in a patient's life is both a privilege and a responsibility that I value deeply.
My clinical interests include regional anesthesia and nerve blocks, critical care medicine and obstetrical epidural analgesia. I am committed to delivering safe, compassionate care while helping patients and their families navigate complex medical situations.
One experience that profoundly shaped my approach to medicine involved the unavoidable death of a young woman from previously undiagnosed cancer. It reminded me that when we reach the limits of medical knowledge and treatment, non-medical skills such as communication, empathy and supporting loved ones become just as important as the care we provide. In particular, helping her husband through that difficult experience reinforced the importance of treating patients and families with compassion and understanding.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking vacations and participating in church activities. These experiences help me stay grounded and maintain the connections that are most important in life.
