About Me

I really enjoy meeting new patients and helping them navigate the process of diagnosing and treating neuromuscular disorders. I am most fulfilled by the lasting relationships I form with my patients.

My interest in neurology goes back to my undergraduate days at the University of Michigan, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Science. Afterwards, I obtained a Masters of Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania. I completed my residency in neurology at University of Vermont Medical Center followed by a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

As a neuromuscular neurologist, I want my patients to know that while my focus is to diagnose and treat their conditions based on the latest medical science, I place an equal emphasis on what matters most to them by attentively listening to their concerns. I also know that what is right for one patient may not be the right course of action for another. Keeping this in mind helps me develop rapport and trust with my patients.

I am most fulfilled by the lasting relationships I form with my patients.
