Dr. Hakey reviewed all the tests with me. She gave me a plan for the anemia. We agreed on an alternate plan for the elevated monocytes. Then, even though my time was over, she listened carefully to my additional questions, answered them clearly, and made several more followup plans. Our appointment started late, but Dr. Hakey generously gave me the time I needed.

Dr. Hakey listened carefully to my concerns regarding hip pain and lack of sleep. She prescribed muscle relaxant and made a referral for PT. I felt she was doing her best to be responsive to my concerns.

It is my first visit to see Dr. Hakey. She listened carefully what I have been suffering from cough in the past 2 and half years. I had Covit-19 virus infection about 3 years ago. I stayed in the hospital for 12 days. Since then, my cough had not been cured. I mainly take over0the counter medications, such as Mucinex DM, Robiitussin and so on, I had TB when I was 10 years old. Now at age 81, I have an artificial mitral valve and a pacemaker. According to a middle-aged man doctor In the ER, 40% of my heartbeat is in A-Fib and 60% is normal. It is a miracle that I am still alive while quite a few of my classmates have passed away. Dr. Hakey prescribed a medication that will get rid of my cough. She told me again and again which time of the day to take this medication in order to avoid interaction with other medications. She also ordered CT test to check my lungs. She is a nice and responsible doctor.
