Dr. Hakey is always warm and friendly. She had reviewed my chart and was well-acquainted with tests and appointments I had had since our last appointment. She reviewed my tests and visits in pulmonology, listened to my lungs, and assured me that all was clear. I had had blood work done two days before and was concerned about one of the values. Dr. Hakey told me she did not think it was a cause for concern but told me she would check with my hematologist. I received an email from her later that day assuring me that the hematologist felt all was okay. Dr. Hakey is thorough and always follows through with any concerns or further plans.
Dr. Hakey is an outstanding care provider. She is thorough, empathic and friendly at all times. She is always open to considering various options and is not doctrinaire about care strategies.
