About Me
The most rewarding part of my career is helping patients restore their quality of life and thrive.
I specialize in the treatment of cardiac disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, usually seeing patients who have an electric disorder of the heart, such as atrial fibrillation, heart rhythm disorders and intracardiac echocardiography.
Most of the care I provide involves invasive procedures. I strive to offer these procedures only when there is a strong expectation of benefit while minimizing risks.
I pay close attention to detail, and my main goal is to restore normal physiological function as much as possible.

I have a very difficult condition to manage for both physicians and as a patient. I have recently been having a tremendous amount of difficulty with significantly increased symptoms as well as access to care which is very challenging with complex conditions in a rural area. Dr. Lustgarten was able to help me with an issue that had caused an extreme amount of stress the previous week. I have very few specialists that can help me with anything as most will tell me they don't know what to do and haven't had similar cases before. When It's difficult for top specialists to manage, imagine how overwhelming and frustrating it Is for the patients. I have had to become well informed in order to manage my condition but I'm aware I can come across as a know-it-all and some doctors are offended by that. I do not have that worry with Dr. Lustgarten. I feel like I can speak directly/bluntly. I have been losing my motivation and really needed help to fix a problem this time that I couldn't resolve myself. I'm very grateful for Dr. Lustgarten's help not just at this visit but for the past many years.
