About Me
I love being able to care for any patient who walks through the emergency department doors — from the CEO of a Fortune 500 company to an unhoused, uninsured person living on the street — and providing each with the same high-quality, evidence-based and compassionate care. For many people, the emergency department is a last resort for health care, and being able to help in those moments is why I love my job.
I'm especially passionate about pediatric care and advancing pediatric readiness in non-pediatric emergency departments. I also enjoy teaching at all levels, from EMT and paramedic students to residents and fellows.
Outside of work, I play in several local concert bands and orchestras, which gives me the opportunity to exercise the creative side of my brain.
