About Me
I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine, and ultimately interventional radiology, by the opportunity to combine my love of science and problem solving with the ability to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. What I find most rewarding is caring for patients throughout their entire treatment journey, from the initial consultation through treatment and follow-up care.
I believe that understanding what matters most to each patient is essential to developing an individualized treatment plan that reflects their needs and goals. My approach is centered on providing the least invasive effective treatment while ensuring patients feel informed, heard and involved in decisions about their care. I have broad clinical interests in interventional radiology, including arterial and venous disease, interventional oncology, embolization, pain palliation and image-guided therapies, with particular interests in musculoskeletal interventions, lymphatic disease, complex venous disease and innovative approaches to vascular access.
My research and training have covered a wide range of topics, including uterine artery embolization, lymphatic interventions, aortic disease, portal venous disease, biliary interventions and alternative approaches to vascular access. One of the most important lessons from my training was learning how understanding a patient’s story, goals and circumstances can shape the approach to treatment. I view every procedure as one part of a larger relationship that begins with thoughtful consultation and continues through follow-up care, with the goal of working together toward outcomes that are meaningful to each patient.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy listening to music, playing guitar and creating my own music. I also enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends. Since moving to Vermont, I have especially enjoyed exploring the outdoors and experiencing the state’s beautiful scenery.
