About Me

I care for patients with chronic illnesses over extended periods, and I genuinely enjoy the long-term relationships we build together.

It is gratifying when a patient returns for a follow-up and tells me that treatment has helped them. Hearing that a patient can return to living their lives — whether that means working or caring for their family — brings me great satisfaction.

Rheumatic diseases tend to be chronic, long-term conditions. I monitor my patients over a long period — I've been seeing some patients for over 25 years.

My approach begins with establishing a diagnosis and then forming a partnership with the patient by involving them in managing their condition. In most cases, I present multiple options and collaboratively choose the one that best suits the patient's needs and preferences.

My patient care philosophy, "Treat to Target," emphasizes listening to each patient's story. I strive to understand their background and goals to develop a personalized management plan for their rheumatologic care.

This philosophy fosters effective communication, allowing us to work together as a team to help manage their disease.
