About Me
I enjoy getting to know my patients and their values, breaking down complex concepts to make them easier to understand and informing patients and their families of the best options for their care. As a vascular and interventional radiologist, I utilize precision imaging and minimally invasive techniques to revolutionize approaches to, and hasten recovery from, a wide variety of disorders. Helping and giving hope to patients who may have few other options is gratifying and pushes me to excel.
I manage a range of conditions, including SVC/IVC Syndrome, complex venous disease, acute and chronic DVT, venous occlusion, IVC filter retrieval, venous insufficiency, varicose veins, leg swelling and more.
I also perform specialized procedures, including lymphangiography/lymphatic embolization/stenting, venous reconstruction/recanalization/stenting, complex IVC filter retrieval and TIPS/portal vein recanalization/variceal sclerotherapy.
My research interests include the interplay of lymphatics in pathophysiology and advancing lymphatic intervention; the pathophysiology of DVT, complex venous occlusions, venous recanalization, venous stenting and coagulopathy; locoregional cancer therapy (TACE/Y90/ablative therapies) and hepatobiliary/portal/transplant interventions.
