About Me
I earned my medical degree at Des Moines University and completed my internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.
My interest in podiatry began during my senior year at Le Moyne College. While working at Fleet Feet Sports, I performed biomechanical exams and saw how gait and footwear could significantly impact walking and running ability. I also had the opportunity to shadow podiatrists and was inspired by how fulfilled they were in their work, which helped solidify my decision to pursue this path.
My family and I were looking for a place that offered both professional satisfaction and a fulfilling lifestyle. After living in Massachusetts and Des Moines, we knew we wanted to be in the Northeast, in a smaller, more rural setting. Central Vermont felt like the perfect fit.
Swimming has been a lifelong passion of mine. Competing at Le Moyne was a highlight of my athletic career. I’m proud to be the only individual national champion in the college’s history and the first student-athlete from the swimming and diving teams to be inducted into its Hall of Fame.
I’m a very competitive person, and I bring that same drive and dedication to my work in podiatry.
