About Me
My path to medicine was shaped by personal experiences in early adulthood and a deep curiosity sparked in my chemistry and biology classes. Together, they led me to pursue a career that blends both human experience and the fundamental sciences.
Today, I find the greatest fulfillment in applying my neuroradiology expertise to improve patient outcomes and in contributing to the field as a journal editor and author. My clinical focus is rooted in advanced neuroradiology, particularly in using imaging to predict outcomes in acute ischemic stroke and to diagnose complex brain infections in immunocompromised patients. I am passionate about delivering precise diagnostic insights, so my patients receive the accurate answers needed for the most effective treatment.
A defining moment in my career was a one-month observership at George Washington University Hospital in April 2015. The high standard of neuroradiology, academic rigor and multidisciplinary approach I witnessed there became my “North Star.” It inspired me to repeat my postgraduate training in the United States and ultimately return to GWU for my fellowship. That experience continues to guide the dedication to clinical excellence I bring to my current practice at UVM Health.
Since settling into life in Vermont, I recharge by spending time with my wife and our two daughters, ages 4 and 9. I also enjoy the precise rituals of baking rye bread and brewing coffee with the Hario V60. On the technical side, I am learning Python and building a home workspace for 3D printing. To stay active, I maintain a daily Peloton routine, and I love unwinding with jazz music.
