About Me

I'm trained in a wide range of both fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures, with a special interest in neuromodulation encompassing spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation.

I'm an expert in managing cancer pain, neuropathic pain, post-surgical pain, complex regional pain syndrome, musculoskeletal pain and spine-related pain stemming from spinal stenosis, herniated discs, failed back surgeries, facet arthropathy and degenerative joint disease.

Improving the quality of life of chronic pain patients gives me immense satisfaction, as well as an opportunity to grow in an environment of profound personal, emotional and intellectual stimulation.

I also currently serve as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine.

Improving the quality of life of chronic pain patients gives me immense satisfaction.

  • My doctor was outstanding with excellent communication and educational information. He was willing to share personal information and very helpful to minimize the apprehension that I had about getting an injection close to my spinal cord (some reasonable fear of this procedure). He was a breath of fresh air in a sea of medical mysteries. Should I require a second injection, I will not only request he preform the procedure, but I'll delay it until he's available!
  • Very nice people.
  • Very good manners. Very good communication. Excellent listener.
  • Dr. Gargya is consistently excellent in all aspects of care.
  • The Dr. Was very informative and explained everything to me and actually cared what I had to say and wasn't looking at a computer screen the whole time, very good appointment

  • Dr. Gargya is always professional and always attentive to concerns or questions.
  • Follow up phone call next day was greatly appreciated.
  • He lacks empathy. Runs the department like a machine assembly line. Maybe good for your bottom line but I don't like the atmosphere any more.
  • They were very understanding, answered my questions.
  • Good
  • Absolutely the best possible team together that I ever received at your facility since 1949 when I was a patient as a child!
  • At times I had difficulty understanding directions and information, but we managed.
  • Dr. Gargya was pleasant.
