Biographical Information

Dr. Calkins is a family medicine physician at the University of Vermont Medical Center and an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT.

Dr. Calkins' clinical area of expertise is preventive health care, women's health care, ADHD in children and adults, and migraine treatment and prevention.  She provides preventive and psychological conditions care, and manages contraception, blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, and neurological disease for patients with asthma. Dr. Calkins' office procedures include colposcopy and IUD insertions.

An assistant professor of family medicine at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM, Dr. Calkins is an Academic Detailer who visits primary care locations across the state providing evidence-based prescribing and treatment strategy education.
