Biographical Information
Diagnosing a patient with accuracy and precision is very important to me. Playing a vital role in the diagnostic process is something I enjoy. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and pathologists is also a rewarding part of my work.
My specialties are dermatopathology—the study of skin pathology—and soft tissue and bone pathology. I attended Tehran University of Medical Sciences, completed my residency in pathology at the University of Minnesota and trained in a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Every day, I use my skills to accurately diagnose bone, soft tissue and skin diseases in patients. My method of diagnosis not only takes a skilled eye with a microscope. In some cases, my approach involves special staining, immunohistochemistry and molecular testing to give patients the highest level of care.
