Biographical Information

Dr. Charlson is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center and an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT. He specializes in problems of the foot and ankle, including ankle instability, flat foot deformity, foot and ankle trauma, Ilizarov Techniques of the foot and ankle, and post traumatic reconstruction.

He focuses on the foot and ankle and believes that because they are the foundations of the body, it is important that they be healthy. As in a house, if there is a problem with the foundation, other parts of the body can be affected.
