Biographical Information

Dr. Dauerman is a cardiologist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and a professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT.

Dr. Dauerman specializes in the treatment of cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.  Areas of expertise include coronary and valvular heart disease, interventional cardiology, ischemic heart disease, and vascular biology. His research interests include new device development, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and optimized systems of care for patients who have had heart attacks.

Dr. Dauermann appreciates being part of an academic medical center, which gives his patients access to the latest research and treatment options, as well as the expertise of leaders in other medical specialties that can help with their treatment.
