Biographical Information
Dr. Ittleman has directed the division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the UVM Medical Center and has served in an academic capacity as professor of surgery in the department of Surgery at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT for more than two decades.
Associate VP for Operations, UVM Medical Group, Dr. Ittleman's practice interests are adult coronary and valvular surgery, limited pediatric cardiac surgery, thoracic aortic aneurysm surgery and surgery for adult congenital abnormalities.
With a care philosophy that patients and their safety are sacrosanct, Dr. Ittleman manages conditions such as valvular heart disease and coronary artery disease with treatments that include aortic valve replacement and coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
