Biographical Information

Dr. Elvira Umyarova is a hematologist at The University of Vermont Cancer Center and clinical assistant professor at the UVM College of Medicine in Burlington, VT. She specializes in malignant hematology/hematopoietic stem cell transplant and is treating patients with blood cancers as well as non malignant blood disorders.

Dr. Umyarova’s research interests include novel treatment options for acute leukemia, immunotherapy application to blood cancers and cell therapy.

Dr. Umyarova works closely with her patients and carefully listens to them in order to provide the most accurate diagnosis. She then designs a treatment plan specific to each patient’s needs.
