Biographical Information
Elizabeth “Liz” Baugh is physical therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in outpatient physical therapy with a focus on pelvic health for all genders and diagnoses. She has a clinical interest in antepartum and postpartum care (including diastasis rectus abdominus treatment), pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other musculoskeletal injuries that pertain to the above diagnoses.
Elizabeth is driven by developing patient-clinician relationships to further treatment in a safe, trust-driven, judgement-free treatment space, which allows for education and treatment that is personalized for each patient and concern. She has a long-term goal of educating the surrounding community on issues related to pelvic health and the pelvic floor, to empower current and future patients to know more about their symptoms early on to decrease time between onset and treatment. She aims to be active and communicative within the health care team with all of her patients.
