Dr. Dougherty is a gynecologist and obstetrician at the University of Vermont Medical Center and an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT.

Taking a holistic approach, Dr. Dougherty treats the whole patient. With every decision she makes in partnership with the patient, Dr. Dougherty considers lifestyle, social activities and surroundings, which can contribute to the patient’s overall health. She works closely with her patients to develop a specific care plan that is tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Dougherty specializes in treating the following conditions: Fibroids, ovarian masses, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, endometriosis, endometrial hyperplasia, abnormal pap smears, vulvar disorders, STI management, and low risk obstetrics.
