About Our Location
At University of Vermont Health – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, we offer patients, staff and providers the opportunity to include evidence-based holistic therapies into their health care. Integrative therapy seeks to treat the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Our Services
We offer a number of services, including but not limited to:
- Cranial Sacral & Myofascial Release Therapy: Gentle, hands-on approach to releasing tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and improve your health.
- Healing Touch: Our in-house healing touch practitioners’ gentle touch can assist you in balancing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual being.
- Palliative Care: Supports patients with serious illness by ensuring the care provided matches the patient’s wishes while improving quality of life.
- Pet Therapy: Our four-footed certified therapists visit patients at our hospital.
- Spiritual Care: Hospital chaplains are available for patients, family members and friends.
