About Our Location
The Infusion Center at University of Vermont Health – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital is certified in giving chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions. Outpatient services we provide include:
- Chemotherapy
- Blood transfusions
- Immunotherapy
- Biotherapy
- IV hydration
- Electrolyte replacements
Your Visit
Our volunteers provide a nutritious lunch to patients visiting the center for an extended period of time.
Due to the use of the chemotherapy drugs in the Infusion Center, we ask that anyone accompanying you during your treatment be 16 years or older.

Need help finding more information about your cancer diagnosis or treatments? Look for a Cancer Resource Volunteer in the FitzPatrick Cancer Treatment Center’s lobby. They are specially trained volunteers dedicated to helping you and your family get the answers you need.
There is someone available Monday through Friday. They can be reached by calling 518-562-7100, ext. 5010, or emailing volunteer@cvph.org.

American College of Surgeons Accreditation
The FitzPatrick Cancer Treatment Center is accredited as a community comprehensive cancer treatment center by the American College of Surgeons, the nationally recognized cancer-accrediting agency. This status is reserved for only those centers that meet rigid requirements concerning the comprehensiveness of services, education of staff and the quality of care provided.

Enter the FitzPatrick Cancer Treatment Center main entrance. Once you’ve entered the building, continue down the hallway. You’ll need to check in at the registration desk. The Infusion Center is located past the Cancer Treatment Center. Take a right at the end of the hallway, go up the slight incline and the Infusion Center door will be straight in front of you.
