About Our Location

Whether you're having a major surgery or a routine procedure, health care can often be overwhelming. University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center offers case management and social work services to help you and your family cope with illness or injury.

Our team consists of nurses, social workers, utilization review assistants (who work directly with insurance companies to ensure payment for care provided) and case aides with expertise in a broad range of health care-related issues. To get more information or request support services, please call 802-847-3553 between 8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. After 4:30 pm and on the weekends, please call 802-847-2700 and ask for the case manager or social worker on call.
