About Our Location

University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center provides you with the highest-quality outpatient infusion therapies in a caring and collaborative environment. If your care provider has recommended you be treated at the center, a representative will contact you to schedule your appointment.

Our facility includes:

  • Patient-controlled TVs (single-use headphones available upon request)
  • Recliners for patient comfort
  • Wi-Fi
  • Light refreshments and snacks

Your Visit

The clinic will call you on the day prior to your visit to confirm your infusion time and perform a health screening over the phone. This confirmation call allows us to prepare some medications prior to your arrival. If there are overnight changes in your health, please call 802-355-6618 by 7 am the day of your infusion.

Illness Policy

If you are ill, have an infection, started on antibiotics, have a fever or tested positive for COVID, your infusion may be rescheduled. Please contact your provider and the infusion center to report any changes in your health that may affect your infusion.

Arrive on Time

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Infusion medication is often prepared in advance, so if you don’t arrive for your infusion, we can no longer have medication waiting for future visits. The wait for medication preparation can be as long as two hours.

Checking In

Upon arrival, check in at the front desk. We ask that you bring your insurance card.

Only one visitor per patient is permitted at this time. If you require additional support for your appointment, contact us prior to your visit.
