What attracted you to UVM Medical Center?

I've made many decisions in my life, and choosing UVM Medical Center was one of the best. From the very beginning, I felt a connection with everyone here. Our Residency Program Director has been incredibly supportive, every staff member has been warm and welcoming, and my preceptors are both knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping residents grow. The program's two month orientation provided a smooth transition into residency, allowing us to understand the workflow and build confidence before taking on greater responsibilities. With two PGY1 Ambulatory Care residency positions, I've also had the opportunity to learn alongside a co-resident in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What do you love about VT?

Here's an interesting story: Whenever I was studying, I would often listen to YouTube videos featuring beautiful scenery accompanied by hours of relaxing music. One day, I clicked on a video of Vermont, and I immediately fell in love with its vibrant fall colors and peaceful lakes. Ever since then, I've dreamed of one day immersing myself in that beautiful landscape.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, such as taking walks, enjoying a creemee, and exploring charming small towns. I also love cooking, listening to music, and cycling.

What attracted you to UVM Medical Center?

I was initially interested in UVMMC because of the ambulatory care residency and the wide variety of clinical experiences offered. Then at midyear, the previous residents expressed their love of the program and the Burlington area, which really sold me on UVMMC!
