Anne Doremus is a senior advisor for investment Strategy at Hanson & Doremus Investment Management, a registered investment advisor based in Burlington, Vermont. She stepped back from her managing partner role in 2021 but continues to sit on the firm’s investment committee, contributing to research and writing. Over her 25-year career at the firm, she was responsible for strategy, portfolio management, security analysis and client interaction. A founding member and past president of the Vermont CFA Society, Doremus has also taught investment management at Saint Michael’s College and University of Vermont. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Vermont and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College. A CFA charterholder. Doremus has served on a numerous non-profit boards and investment committees.
