Tammy has more than 40 years of nursing experience, and has served in a variety of clinical and administrative nursing roles across her career at both CVPH, AHMC and Hospice.
Tammy received her Nursing Degree from Clinton Community College in 1985, and served as a Medical/Surgical RN at CVPH from 1985-1988. Tammy joined AHMC in 1988 as a Surgical Nurse, and then began Night Nursing Supervision for the next 7 years. Tammy worked for five years in Hospice Care, and then returned to AHMC, leading the Medical / Surgical Unit, Family Maternity Center and Surgical Services, eventually becoming Director of Nursing at AHMC.
Tammy was promoted to AHMC AVP of Patient Care Services and served in that role from 2019-2021 after which she moved to a new role in the AHMC Quality department leading the teams on stroke, sepsis protocols, and readmissions prior to her retirement from AHMC in June 2026.
Tammy is a lifelong resident of the North Country, and has two daughters and one grandson. She also has two therapy dogs, a poodle and a doodle, and remains very active working with horses in her free time.
