About Me
My interest in becoming an occupational therapist began when I was a teenager. After my mother had a stroke, I saw the impact her occupational therapist had on her recovery, and it encouraged me to pursue this profession. I find it meaningful to make a difference in someone’s life by helping them become more independent and return to the occupations that matter most to them.
I have clinical expertise in concussion management. One of the most memorable moments in my career was providing an adaptive device that allowed a patient to put on his socks independently for the first time in years. His excitement reminded me that even small tasks can be huge accomplishments for the people I work with.
Outside of work, I enjoy sharing my knowledge of football through coaching kids in the community.
