About Me
From a young age, I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine during my science classes, where I developed a fascination with the human body and how that knowledge could be used to help others. This early interest led me to the field of pathology, where I find the most rewarding aspect to be using our experience and knowledge to reach the correct diagnosis.
I have a particular passion for gastrointestinal tract pathology, including the liver and pancreas, as well as cytopathology. Several moments have shaped my career, but one that stands out is the time I spent in medically underserved countries such as Uganda and Grenada. These experiences had a profound impact on my perspective and commitment to the field.
My research interests include drug-induced injuries of the gastrointestinal tract, hereditary polyposis syndromes and cytopathology.
Outside of work, I enjoy working out, playing hockey and I look forward to exploring the Northeast region of the United States.
