About Me
I specialize in orthopedic physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, orthopedic manual therapy and dry needling. Dry needling is a specific clinical technique for neuromusculoskeletal pain and human movement dysfunction where I insert a single-use monofilament needle into soft tissue to promote physical and biochemical change to improve function. Dry needling is usually used as an aide to manual, movement and exercise therapies.
My research interests include injury incidence and movement patterns in elite cross-country skiers and lower back pain.
I listen carefully to my patients' stories to be sure I develop a personalized plan of care for every patient. I take pride in the collaboration I have with my patients and their health care team to help my patients achieve their functional, movement and activity goals.
