About Me
Treating various acute and chronic conditions related to physical activity is fulfilling. It's rewarding to help people return to their desired activity levels and resume healthy lifestyles.
I want patients to know that I hear them. I actively listen to their stories and involve them in collaborative discussions about evaluating and treating their conditions. I prioritize an evidence-based practice model incorporating the latest literature and data to inform medical decision-making.
As a patient advocate, I help individuals understand the advantages and disadvantages of surgical and non-surgical approaches to musculoskeletal and athletic disorders. My goal is to facilitate quick recoveries so patients can return to their preferred active, healthy lifestyles.
I grew up in Michigan and completed medical school and a residency in family medicine at the University of Michigan before pursuing a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.
I'm a competitive runner, cyclist, skier and triathlete. I also enjoy spending time away from work traveling with my wife and daughters.
My goal is to facilitate quick recovery so patients can return to active, healthy lifestyles.
