About Me
I grew up in Scotland and came to the United States to attend university in Rochester, NY. In between my undergraduate degree and medical school, I spent a year in Thetford, Vermont.
I came to Central Vermont Medical Center from Maine Medical Center, where I was a chief resident in the Emergency Department.
I believe that an open and honest connection between patients and their provider is the most effective way of empowering patients in health care. It's particularly important in the Emergency Department and is an aspect of my job that I look forward to every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy the sports I grew up playing: golf, squash and rugby. My wife and I now live in Calais.
