About Me
The most rewarding part of being a health care provider is caring for patients during their most vulnerable moments. As a NICU provider, few experiences are more meaningful than seeing a newborn grow stronger and eventually go home with their family.
Often, I must bring the babies to NICU and away from their parents, just moments after they are born. My goal is always to make families feel as supported as possible during this very emotional and uncertain time.
I’m committed to improving both the experience and outcomes for our smallest patients. I am proud of helping develop a protocol to obtain early blood work from the umbilical cord — minimizing discomfort for newborns. It's an approach has been shared across multiple hospitals in our region.
It’s a privilege to care for these infants and to help make them and their families as comfortable as possible during a critical chapter in their lives.
