About Me

As a geneticist, I find my work deeply rewarding — both intellectually and professionally. One of the most fulfilling aspects is the chance to contribute to meaningful scientific discoveries. In clinical genetics, I play a key role in diagnosing genetic disorders, which can lead to more targeted treatments and help families make informed reproductive choices.

I also work closely with patients and their families to explain complex genetic information in a way that’s understandable and relevant to their unique circumstances and values. The field is constantly evolving, which means I’m always learning — whether it’s through the integration of new technologies or the discovery of novel disease genes. This pace of change keeps me engaged and continually growing.

My clinical interests include inborn errors of metabolism, pediatric genetics, and prenatal genetic counseling. My research focuses on using whole genome sequencing to investigate acute, unexplained illnesses. I also perform specialized procedures, such as skin biopsies, as part of my clinical practice.

I work closely with patients and their families to explain complex genetic information in a way that’s understandable and relevant to their unique circumstances and values.
